The Sustainability Action Mission: The Sustainability Action Network, a non-profit organization, is bringing awareness of the global crisis caused by climate change, energy vulnerability and economic instability to communities in the Kansas River bioregion. We are initiating positive solutions inspired by the Transition and Permaculture Movements. We bring the tools needed to re-skill and re-localize our economy and create a more socially just and ecologically sustainable world.

Our efforts encompass a wholistic, multifaceted approach to relocalization of economic exchange, renewable energy, food production, resource conservation, biological diversity, social justice, water rights, and watershed restoration. We simultaneously support personal lifestyle changes for individuals and communities to minimize their carbon footprint, primarily through the Permaculture ethic of earth stewardship, the interdependence and equality of all species and all peoples, conservation and regeneration, and the limits to growth. As much as we are able, Sustainability Action Network conducts itself with honor and respect for all species and all peoples.
